The US EPA, Madera County Department of Environmental Health, and CMWC have a program to comply with thefederal Lead and Copper Rule. Public water systems are required to monitor for lead and copper in their distribution systems. On August 25, 2022, NO samples detected lead, and the copper samples [<0.475mg per liter] were well below the Action Level of 1.3mg per liter.
